An Alabama man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife's best friend, who was found dead of a suspected drug overdose in the couple's home last week, AL.com reports.
Police say 46-year-old Randall Hancock was found dead of a suspected drug overdose in the living room of his Dothan home Wednesday morning.
His wife, 49-year-old Barbara Hancock, was found dead in the living room later that day.
According to the Dothan Eagle, Barbara Hancock was found with a blood-alcohol content more than three times the legal limit for driving.
Police say Hancock's blood-alcohol content was found to be three times the legal limit for driving.
According to AL.com, the coroner's office has ruled Hancock's death a homicide.
